Laura is a senior finance advisor at Norwest where she helps portfolio companies navigate a wide array of finance, legal, compliance and growth oriented challenges. An accomplished CFO at three of Norwest’s portfolio companies and other startups, she has built and led emerging tech companies through periods of hyper growth, vertical diversification, geographical expansion and capital financings. Operationally oriented, her passion is business model innovation and collaboration with high performance teams who build for scale.

Currently CFO of Celona, a Norwest portfolio enterprise 5G company, she has previously served as CFO of Norwest backed Mist (enterprise wifi) acquired by Juniper and Omneon (servers/storage for media companies) acquired by Harmonic.

Other CFO roles at venture backed tech companies include Picarro (solutions measuring GHG concentrations, trace gases and stable isotopes), Icarian (early SaaS innovator) acquired by Workstream and Rendition (fabless GPU) acquired by Micron Tech.

Laura holds a B.S. in applied economics from the University of San Francisco.
