Suraj focuses on venture opportunities in the healthcare sector, including digital health and healthcare IT, technology-enabled healthcare services, medical devices, diagnostics, and biopharma.
Prior to joining Norwest, Suraj was a senior business analyst in the healthcare practice at Kearney, a global management consulting firm. Prior to Kearney, he held a business development role at UnitedHealthGroup.
Suraj graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering and a minor in computer science. While at Hopkins, Suraj directed its nationally recognized medical hackathon, MedHacks, and led A-Level Capital, a student-run venture fund investing in companies founded by Hopkins students, alumni, and faculty.
